Software Developer
Do you think of something other than an island when you hear the name Java? Then you might be the programmer we are looking for. As a programmer you work on developing software applications (web-based ones as well) every day. For example, creating links with front- and backoffice systems. You work independently and also have a lot of freedom. But you still receive satisfaction from learning from your team and working together on IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Creating links between the internal systems of advertisers and Internet marketing systems (e.g. Google AdWords)
- Developing so-called internal process-supporting software (internal use), such as reporting systems
- Reading out performance data from Internet marketing systems and converting these data into control information
- Converting database structures
- Conducting version management of the applications you develop
- Developing applications for our advertisers from an Internet marketing perspective
Profile:
- Knowledge of Java and/or Microsoft .Net & XML
- Ability to work in HTML, PHP or ASP, Ajax ( C++ and API linking are a plus)
- Solution-oriented attitude and eager to learn
- Comprehension of English (technical)
- Modular programming skills
- Experience or interest in setting up database structures, normalizing databases and data mining (knowledge of DBMS (MySQL, MsSQL, Oracle)
- Structured working methods
- You write clear and maintainable code
- HBO+ (higher vocational education and higher) level of working and thinking
