Conversion Optimization with Google Analytics
Successful conversion optimization begins with reliable statistics.
Google Analytics is currently the most-used web analytics software and not without reason. It is free to use, relatively simple to install and especially user-friendly.
However, this does not mean that everyone can use it just like that. Web analytics is a science and before you can use the data in Google Analytics, you must first know what the data means.
Netsociety organizes a one-day training course every month that focuses on the functioning and use of Google Analytics.
The following subjects are on the agenda:
Installation
- Standard
- Multiple domains/subdomains
- E-commerce
- Event tracking
Setting up a Google Analytics account
- Profiles
- Objectives and funnels
- Filters
- Users
AdWords linking
Testing other marketing campaigns
The most important reports
Advanced applications (including custom reports and advanced segments)
Analysis of the data for conversion optimization
Using the data for your Google Website Optimizer test
After the training you will be able to:
- Independently install and troubleshoot Analytics
- Independently set up an Analytics account
- Interpret data in Google Analytics
- Assess the effectiveness of your online campaigns (including AdWords)
- Identify bottlenecks in your website through data analysis
